University of Kerbala Organizes a Seminar on the Role of Women in Local Administration

The College of Education for Human Sciences at University of Kerbala organized a scientific seminar on “The Role of Women in Local Administration,” with lectures presented by Dr. Khaloud Habib Karim Al-Hassnawi, Dr. Susan Abbas Hussein, Ms. Zahra Adnan Alwan, and Ms. Israa Al-Nasrawi.

The seminar aimed to highlight the role of women from ancient times up to the present day.

The seminar covered several key topics, including the political and social roles of women in ancient history. It emphasized that prehistoric times recognized the sacredness of women due to their connection with the earth. Over time, women gained a significant role, especially after the emergence of cities, laws, and codes.
