University of Kerbala Organizes a Seminar on Women According to Divine Knowledge

The College of Education for Human Sciences at University of Kerbala, in collaboration with the Kerbala Center for Studies and Research at the Holy Hussainiya Shrine, organized a scientific seminar titled “Women According to Divine Knowledge: A Noble Creation and a Misconception.” The seminar was presented by His Eminence Sheikh Professor Mazen Al-Tamimi and moderated by Ms. Zahra Adnan Alwan.

The seminar aimed to highlight the role of Islamic culture in ensuring the rights granted to women by the Creator (Glory be to Him).

The seminar discussed how other cultures failed to grant women their natural rights due to misconceptions, which led to a distorted view of their role in society. This misunderstanding relegated women to a position they did not deserve and was inconsistent with their true status. The discussion emphasized that the narrow cultural norms and customs clearly limited women’s rights and their rightful position in society.
