University of Kerbala Organizes a Training Workshop on Environmental Pollution in Iraq

The Department of Physics at the College of Science, University of Kerbala, organized a training workshop on the types of environmental pollution in Iraq.

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Huraa Mohammed Abbas, Dr. Oras Mousa Imran, and lecturers Huda Hashem Qasim and Niran Salem Ali. It aimed to introduce participants to various types of pollution and their impact on the environment and public health.

The workshop also covered key topics such as chemical and radioactive pollution, the reasons behind rising pollution levels in Iraq, and the latest environmental statistics linking pollution to increasing disease rates in the country.
