University of Kerbala Organizes a Workshop on Developing Creative Writing Skills in Arabic

The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Kerbala organized a training workshop on “Developing Creative Writing Skills in Arabic.” The workshop was delivered by Dr. Khairallah Mahdi, Dr. Mais Hibet Hamid, Dr. Noaman Jro Ali, and Dr. Bashar Latif Jawad.

The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ creative writing abilities, refine their literary techniques, and strengthen their capacity to express themselves in a distinctive and engaging manner. It also focused on how to develop ideas and transform them into well-structured literary texts, whether in short story writing or poetry.

The workshop covered several key topics, including the concept and types of creative writing, mechanisms for idea generation and development, narrative and descriptive techniques in literary texts, as well as text editing strategies, quality enhancement, and overcoming writing challenges.
