Conclusion of the University President’s Ramadan Tournament for Table Tennis and Badminton

The University President’s Ramadan Tournament for table tennis and badminton concluded at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Kerbala. The tournament lasted for three days, featuring intense competitions and wide participation from faculty members across the university’s colleges.

The event witnessed strong preliminary rounds, culminating in the crowning of the champions in both sports. Professor Dr. Habib Ali Tahir, Dean of the College, presented the awards to the winners. Professor Dr. Rami Abdul Ameer and Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Ne’ma secured first place in the badminton championship, while Professor Dr. Haider Salman Mohsen claimed the table tennis title after an outstanding performance throughout the tournament.

The organizers praised the high technical level of the competition, emphasizing the importance of such events in fostering sportsmanship and strengthening interaction among academic staff.
