University of Kerbala Organizes a Scientific Seminar on the Role of University Students in Promoting Sustainable Development

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Kerbala organized a scientific seminar on the “Role of University Students in Promoting Sustainable Development,” delivered by Dr. Abbas Obeid Al-Amiri.

The seminar aimed to educate students on the importance of sustainable development, as they represent the largest culturally qualified and socially influential group, capable of creating a generation that can face the challenges surrounding the foundations of a sustainable, healthy environment.

The seminar included an introduction to the concept of sustainable development, its core pillars, and the role of sustainable development in fostering scientific and cultural awareness that contributes to the organized use of natural resources and wealth, as well as methods for ensuring their sustainability for future generations and protecting them from various risks.
