In the Fourth Wound Festival, Minister of Higher Education Emphasizes the Importance of Drawing Values from the Sacred Martyrdom of Imam Ali (A.S.)
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, emphasized the importance of drawing values and higher principles from the sacred martyrdom of Amir al-Mu’minin, Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (A.S.).
This statement was made during his speech at the “Wound Festival,” organized by the College of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad. Dr. Al-Aboudi explained that this significant occasion calls for being part of a consciousness based on Islamic principles, while also acknowledging the importance of higher education and scientific research institutions in fostering environments that inspire generations with a deep-rooted identity.
He reiterated the importance of recalling from the sacred martyrdom the true meaning of human consciousness, drawing inspiration from the spirit of the Commander of the Faithful (A.S.) who shaped eloquence and a path from which wisdom flows for all humanity, regardless of its diverse backgrounds.
The Wound Festival, titled “The Path of Martyrdom,” included speeches and activities that reflected the commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (A.S.), attended by several members of parliament, distinguished figures, faculty members, and students.
