University of Kerbala Organizes a Scientific Course on Physical and Chemical Water Testing in the Department of Civil Engineering

The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Kerbala organized a scientific course titled “Laboratory Physical and Chemical Examinations of Water,” which lasted for three days in the Discussion Hall of the Department of Civil Engineering. The course was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Fadak Salah Sahib, who addressed both the theoretical and practical aspects of water testing. The sessions aimed to determine water quality, ensure public health protection, and guarantee compliance with environmental standards.

The course highlighted the importance of analyzing and evaluating water properties to assess its quality and suitability for various applications such as drinking, irrigation, and industrial processes. Moreover, it emphasized the role of these tests in preserving the environment.

The event was well-attended by faculty members and engineers from the Departments of Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
