University of Kerbala Organizes a Scientific Symposium on Drug and Chemical Expiration

The College of Pure Sciences at the University of Kerbala organized a scientific symposium on “Drug and Chemical Expiration,” attended by Ms. Farah Jabar Ali and Ms. Israa Qahtan Abdul Amir.

The symposium aimed to discuss the expiration dates of drugs and chemicals and their effects on drug efficacy and stability, in addition to identifying the issues caused by expired drugs.

It covered several topics, including storage tips to maintain drug efficacy, methods to recognize expired or degraded chemicals through the appearance of certain signs, and proper drug storage practices.

The symposium recommended giving due attention to these issues in order to reduce the risks associated with the use of expired medications.
