University of Kerbala Organizes a Workshop on Radiant Energy
The College of Pure Sciences at the University of Kerbala organized a workshop on “Radiant Energy: Applications and Risks,” attended by Dr. Adel Abbas Karim.
The workshop aimed to explain the concept of radiant energy as a form of energy transmitted through waves or particles and emitted from both natural and artificial sources.
It covered several topics, including the applications of radiant energy in diagnostics, therapy, and industry.
The workshop emphasized the importance of monitoring radiation levels in both operational and natural environments using radiation detection devices, and recommended training personnel in radiation safety procedures.
