PhD Dissertation at the University of Kerbala Explores the Foundations of Intellectual Security in the Islamic State

A PhD dissertation at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Kerbala, titled “Foundations of Intellectual Security in the Islamic State until 11 AH / 633 CE”, was presented by the student Nawras Ibrahim Jassim.

The study aimed to shed light on the topic of intellectual security as a fundamental issue affecting the reality of the Islamic state. It emphasizes the right of individuals to live safely and securely in their homeland, feeling reassured about themselves while preserving their authenticity, traditions, and culture.

The significance of the study lies in examining intellectual security through its religious and spiritual dimensions in consolidating Islamic identity, in addition to other closely related aspects.

The dissertation is divided into an introduction, a preface, and four chapters. The first chapter explores intellectual security, its emergence, main manifestations, and its role in guiding society. The second chapter addresses the policies of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and their role in establishing social and moral intellectual security. The third chapter discusses the role of the Imamate in preserving intellectual security within the Islamic state, while the fourth chapter examines economic security and its contribution to ensuring intellectual security in the Islamic state.
