The College of Pharmacy Organizes a Scientific Visit to the Central Library at the University of Kerbala

As part of its scientific activities aimed at fostering a love of reading, the Student Activities Division at the College of Pharmacy, University of Kerbala, organized a scientific visit for first-year students to the university’s central library.

The visit included a tour of the library’s departments, introducing students to its resources and how to access them. Students were also briefed on services such as searching, borrowing, and photocopying. Furthermore, they learned how to use electronic databases and advanced search techniques to access modern scientific and medical resources.

The visit aimed to enhance students’ scientific research skills and broaden their cultural awareness, as well as familiarize them with the library’s modern methods for acquiring and organizing resources. The visit also emphasized the vital role of libraries in community culture and their support for scientific research and educational institutions. Libraries serve as a source of encouragement for diverse reading and underscore the library’s status as an intellectual and scientific institution that is an integral part of the University of Kerbala.
