University of Kerbala Holds Training Course on Iraqi Standards for Educational Laboratory Quality

The College of Dentistry at Universityof Kerbala held a training course on the quality of educational laboratories and to explain the guidelines for Iraqi standards.

The course, titled “Guidelines for Iraqi Standards for Educational Laboratory Quality,” was presented by Dr. Israa Habib Ibrahim and attended by a group of educational laboratory managers and supervisors. It explained how to implement occupational safety standards within laboratories, provided explanations of the required forms, and demonstrated how to prepare laboratory self-assessment reports. The course also explained how to classify laboratories based on their level of risk.

The course recommended the necessity of adhering to these standards in all laboratories and coding laboratory equipment according to the coding system adopted by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority at the Ministry of Higher Education, in preparation for receiving ministerial committees responsible for laboratory evaluation.
