University of Kerbala Organizes a Scientific Seminar on the Intellectual and Cultural Security of Contemporary Women

The College of Education for Humanities at University of Kerbala organized a scientific seminar on “The Intellectual and Cultural Security of Contemporary Women,” presented by Dr. Karima Noumas Al-Madani.

The seminar addressed the importance of the concept of intellectual and cultural security for contemporary women in a world characterized by rapid cognitive change and a digital landscape brimming with diverse content and varying levels of influence. Women are not merely a part of contemporary society; they represent a key element in its development and stability, given their vital roles in the family, education, and work, as well as their social and cultural impact.

The seminar aimed to clarify that women’s intellectual and cultural security is not limited to protection from destructive ideologies, but extends to empowering them with knowledge and enhancing their critical thinking skills, thus enabling their active participation in building society.
