University of Kerbala Organizes Workshop on Enhancing Women’s Capacities in Decision-Making and Community Building

The College of Education for Humanities at University of Kerbala organized a workshop on “Enhancing Women’s Capacities in Decision-Making and Community Building.” The workshop was led by Dr. Raja Yassin Abdullah and Dr. Auras Hashim Al-Jubouri, with the participation of Dr. Ban Dhiab Al-Ghanimi.

The workshop aimed to highlight the pivotal role of women in society and explore ways to empower and qualify them to assume decision-making positions. It covered several key topics, including the challenges women face in reaching leadership positions, strategies for building self-confidence and developing leadership skills, and the importance of women’s active participation in policymaking and building a balanced and progressive society.

The workshop witnessed significant interaction from the attendees, who exchanged views and experiences on ways to enhance women’s societal role and discussed mechanisms to overcome obstacles that limit their participation in the sustainable development process.
