University of Kerbala Celebrates Engineering Students’ Creativity at Fine Arts Festival

The College of Engineering at University of Kerbala held a festival showcasing scientific output and artistic works, attended by faculty members and students from the department.

The festival was inaugurated by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Haider Nadhim Aziz Al-Mahna, accompanied by Dr. Haider Ibrahim Mohammed Alawi, Head of the Department of Architectural Engineering.

Attendees viewed the exhibits and projects presented by the students and listened to detailed explanations of the design concepts and architectural treatments, which reflected an advanced level of scientific understanding and creative ability.

During his tour, the Dean emphasized the importance of holding such scientific events, given their active role in developing students’ skills, fostering a spirit of innovation and teamwork, and bridging the gap between theory and practice. He commended the efforts of the faculty and students in making the festival a success.

The festival aimed to highlight the students’ creative potential and create a stimulating academic environment that contributes to raising the academic and intellectual level of students in the Department of Architectural Engineering.
