University President Discusses Mosque Construction Possibility with Delegation from the Abbasid Shrine

University President, Professor Sabah Wajid, received a delegation from the Maintenance and Engineering Projects Departments of the General Secretariat of the Holy Abbasid Shrine to discuss the possibility of constructing a mosque on campus.

During the meeting, the technical and engineering aspects of the project were discussed, and both parties explored implementation mechanisms that would harmonize with the university environment and serve the needs of students and staff.

Both sides emphasized the importance of joint cooperation to ensure the success of the initiative, given its potential to strengthen spiritual values ​​and provide a suitable space for religious observances within the university.

The delegation toured the proposed site for the mosque, accompanied by University President Professor Sabah Wajid, the Head of the Construction and Projects Department, Dr. Muhammad Naji, and several engineering specialists.
