The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, revealed the creation of a university, ten colleges, and one hundred and twenty-nine departments in public universities to accommodate the inputs in public universities.

He said in his speech during the conference to announce the results of central admission that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research continues its thoughtful scientific and academic path aimed at making a qualitative contribution to achieving development by meeting the community’s needs for educational services, enabling citizens to study at university, and enhancing and enriching the map of academic institutions in all Iraqi governorates.

He stressed that the success of the Ministry of Higher Education was explicitly tangible in the decisions related to developing the educational process and opening its horizons towards internationalizing procedures and making Iraqi universities part of the environment of the global academic event, pointing out that the educational institution was able to enhance its internal efficiency and moved towards institutional dealing with the inputs, indicating at the same time To open and create a government university, four colleges, and one hundred and twenty-nine scientific departments in various governorates, according to the population increase index and their need for university institutions.
