Faculty of Dentistry / University of Kerbala has organized a scientific symposium on causes of harassment phenomenon and its dangers. It is presented by Asst. Lect. Fadhil Nehme, and it is directed to a group of employees and professors.

It aims at highlighting the concept of harassment phenomenon and explaining factors that help spreading of this phenomenon, in addition to clarify legal texts that guarantee the victim’s rights and deter the harasser.

The symposium includes an explanation of factors that help spread phenomenon of harassment, such as weak religious faith, weak law, unemployment, and others.

It ends up with a number of recommendations to reduce harassment phenomenon, including the necessity of immunizing individuals, especially children, morally and socially against deviance, and preparing awareness and educational programmes targeting various segments to educate the public on how to confront, treat, and eliminate phenomenon of harassment.
