The College of Pharmacy conducts the OSCE exam for students.

Under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof.Dr. Ahmed Salih Al Khezallyand with follow-up by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Jamal Ali Ashour, and the Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Branch, Assistant Professor Dr. Atheer Majid Rashid, the Clinical Pharmacy Branch at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Karbala conducted the OSKI exam.

Structured Clinical Examination Objective) for students of the fourth stage of clinical pharmacy (practical). It is one of the modern examination methods in medical sciences, as the student evaluates it not based on his information only, but rather on communication skills and clinical examination skills. The test includes several stations that have been prepared in a way that simulates the clinical reality in hospitals. At each station, a teacher is responsible for answering a number of questions for a specific medical condition, asking questions to the students, and confirming the evaluation according to a form prepared for this purpose.

The aim of the exam is to raise the students’ scientific level in the field of clinical pharmacy and communicate with the patient in a way that simulates practical reality.

The Dean of the College stated that the exam ensures that the student acquires the necessary knowledge and skills and provides the opportunity to simulate reality to deal directly with the patient, which qualifies him to join the medical team after graduation and provide the best therapeutic and pharmaceutical services
