College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala held a virtual meeting with the Council of the Iranian University of Lorestan, as a first step in activating the memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Higher Education and its Iranian counterpart.

The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Thamer Karim Khudair, along with his assistant for scientific affairs and graduate studies, Professor Dr. Sabah Ghazi Sharif, and his assistant for administrative and financial affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Balash Jabr, while the President of the Iranian University of Lorestan, Professor Dr. Ali Naziri, was also present.

The meeting comes within the framework of the direct directives of the President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Bassem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi, stressing the necessity of developing the educational sector and exchanging academic experiences with regional and international universities.
