The University of Karbala organizes a religious trip for internal department students to the city of Samarra

The Social Research Unit in the internal departments at the University of Karbala, in coordination with the Holy Abbasid Shrine, organized a student trip to the city of Samarra with the participation of internal department students.

The trip aimed to view the tourist and religious attractions in the city of Samarra, raise the level of cultural awareness among the students, and strengthen relations and cooperation between them.

The program of the trip, in which (280) students participated, included a visit to the religious shrines in the city of Samarra and organizing a Qur’anic assembly in the purified military kindergarten, in addition to holding an intellectual and scientific competition and distributing prizes to the winners.

The students were accompanied during the trip by the head of the social research unit in the internal departments, Hassan Hussein, and a number of professors from the Holy Qur’an Institute at the al-Abbas Shrine.
