College of Science / University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A thesis which is entitled ” Improvement of Radiotherapy Theoretically nano_ molecules as Radiosenstive Agent”.

The study, presented by Walaa Shaalan Sarhan, aims at studying the effect of silver nanoparticles on radiotherapy and improving radiation therapy theoretically.

The study concludes by proving the existence of a new technology in radiotherapy by reducing number of radiotherapy sessions by half and increasing silver atoms, which leads to an increase in radiation sensitivity, corresponding to a decrease in number of cancer cells in lung, which confirms their complete destruction.
