Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced on launching of the second edition of the Study in Iraq initiation to attract international students to Iraqi universities for the academic year 2024/2025.

Higher Education reviewed that Study in Iraq initiation included 14,322 academic seats offered by 59 Iraqi public and private universities, as follows: 57% for free scholarships and 43% for semi-free scholarships in medical, health, engineering, pure sciences, agricultural, veterinary, administrative, law, politics, education and humanities for the bachelor’s, higher diploma, master’s and Ph.D. degrees for the academic year 2024/ 2025. 

Higher Education added that the applications for scholarships have been activated today, Monday, 4/1/2024, through the electronic platform for the Study in Iraq initiation (https://studyiniraq.scrd-gate.gov.iq/home).

Higher Education demonstrated that the launching of the new version of the Study in Iraq initiation witnessed delivering official speeches and detailed presentations, as well as several representatives of diplomatic missions in Baghdad, senior staff, university presidents, college deans, and an elite group of international students studying in Iraqi universities were attended.
