Teachers from the University of Karbala participate in a training course on life skills in agricultural curricula

A number of teachers from the College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala participated in the course organized by the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at Saladin University in Erbil in cooperation with the Dutch organization Nuffic within the Orange Knowledge Programme, on integrating entrepreneurship and life skills into climate-smart agriculture curricula.

The participation of the teaching staff, Dr. Adnan Abdel Jalil, Dr. Kazem Muhammad Abdullah, Dr. Ali Abdel Hussein, and Dr. Sinai Muslim Abdel, reflects the growing interest in enhancing the interaction between scientific research and practical applications in the agricultural sector.

The training course aimed to provide faculty members at the College of Agriculture with the latest concepts about entrepreneurship and its integration into agricultural curricula.

Climate-smart agricultural approaches are concerned with the modern shift towards using technology to improve agricultural productivity and respond to accelerating climate changes.
