During a meeting with the delegation from University College London, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed coordination aspects with universities regarding the formulation of joint scientific cooperation programs

Dr. Al-Aboudi affirmed the Iraqi university institutions’ readiness on exchanging experiences and programs that would strengthen the fields of development and training that would benefit the environment of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq.

For their part, the delegation reviewed the possibilities of bilateral cooperation with Iraqi universities, especially in historical and archaeological specializations that indicate a long-standing cultural identity for the Republic of Iraq.

It is worth to be mentioned that the meeting was attended by Professor Elinor Robson and two representatives from the Al-Nahrain Network and the British Council in Baghdad.
