During Iraqi Legislation 

Day, which organized by the Legal Directorate, which was held at the College of Law, Al-Nahrain University, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi honored a number of pioneers, experts and specialists in the field of law on the occasion of Iraqi Legislation Day.

Dr. Al-Aboudi confirmed that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is working with all determination to achieve what is required of responsible dealing with the laws and their specializations, embodying the culture of legal specializations, reaching the maximum extent of application in all vital and strategic fields for State’s institutions and developing successful scientific indicators to link the outputs to the public and private sectors and meet society’s need for legal specialists.

His Excellency said that inclusion of law specializations in the central evaluation examination administered that supervised by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the initiation of placing law colleges and their departments among the specializations covered by the implementation of the Bologna Process in the coming years.

Dr. Al-Aboudi called for more legislation that takes into account the highest interest of the State.

His Excellency urged universities to activate the authorizations granted to them under the law in order to improve the quality environment and overcome challenges.
