The President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Basem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi, accompanied by the Scientific Assistant to the President of the University, Professor Dr. Najm Abdul Hussein, participated in the activities of the Al-KafeelInformation Technology Forum, which was organized by Al-Kafeel University.

The three-day forum aimed to shed light on technological and technical achievements, and present a set of software solutions and systems that serve society, while it included scientific workshops and specialized exhibitions.

The President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Bassem Al-Saeedi, said: “The forum represents an Iraqi achievement that contains many software and technologies that can be used in the state’s health and educational institutions and other institutions,” noting that there is cooperation with the Al-KafeelCenter of the Abbasid Shrine for the purpose of preparing an integrated digital program for the University of Karbala. To manage the educational process at the university and will be launched soon.

For his part, the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Najm Abdul Hussein, stated that “The University of Karbala has begun to move towards activating the work of the electronic system in cooperation with the Abbasid Shrine, through the completion of the electronic Al-Siraj system, which will facilitate the completion of many administrative processes such as student registration processes, fixing the annual quest, rates, and promotions.” Scientific and attendance of students and professors in electronic images.

He explained that “Karbala University works within the framework of a memorandum of cooperation that was previously concluded between the university and the shrine and includes many paragraphs that could be in the interest of both parties
