The University of Karbala organized a feminist solidarity stand to support Palestinian women, in which a large group of female students, teachers and university employees participated.

The vigil was held in conjunction with the birth of Mrs. Zeinab, peace be upon her, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Akram Al-Yasiri, who saluted the Palestinian woman for her courageous stances and demonstration of resilience in the face of Israeli abuse.

The participants in the vigil, who gathered in the square of the university center, called on Palestinian women to be patient and steadfast in the face of the Israeli attacks against them, by following the example of Lady Zeinab, peace be upon her, who was an example of patience and steadfastness in the face of tyranny.

The stand witnessed the presentation of artistic works in which university students participated, through which they embodied the steadfastness and determination of Palestinian women throughout history.
