His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi honored the winning students in the Ramadan Qur’anic competition held by the College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University.
Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed that the competing students competed to recite verses from the Holy Qur’an under the supervision of a specialized committee headed by Dr. Rafi’ Al-Amiri.
His Excellency congratulated the winners and participants for their interest and excellence in performance and interaction with the Qur’anic contents in this holy month of Ramadan.
Dr. Al-Aboudi revealed a project for a major national Qur’anic competition, which will be managed by a Ministerial committee that will formulate its program and timing, which will provide a map of the details in the environment of Iraqi universities.
It is worth to be mentioned that the atmosphere of the Ramadan Qur’anic competition concluded with an iftar banquet with the participation of His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi, President of Al-Nahrain University, Deans of colleges, students of dormatory’s and international students studying in Iraq.
