Dring chairing the meeting of the Supreme Ministerial Committee for hosting the fifty-sixth session of the Association of Arab Universities, which will be hosted by Baghdad, next March 2024, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi directed forming of scientific, technical and logistical committees and the organizing and completing of the map of procedures responsible for hosting this important event, in which universities and scientific institutions affiliated with the Association of Arab Universities will be participated.

Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed that the work of this edition coincides with the anniversary of the founding of the Union.

His Excellency stressed on the importance of establishing appropriate climates for cooperation between universities in the fields of scientific knowledge as an effective tool in development and improvement.

 Dr. Al-Aboudi highlighted that Iraq and its institutions have a long history and scientific indicator worthy of hosting and embracing the work of the Association of Arab Universities.

It is worth to be mentioned that the meeting was attended by a number of Deputies, Universities Presidents and General Directors.
