College of Nursing / University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A thesis which is entitled “problem of using the Internet with psychological alienation and emotional divorce among married female students at University of Kerbala”.

The study aims at determining relationship between problematic Internet use and its relationship to psychological alienation and emotional divorce. It tries to fill this gap by providing a more comprehensive picture of this issue through a quantitative synthesis.

The study finds out a moderate level of problematic Internet use, psychological alienation, and a moderate level of emotional divorce.

The study recommends the need to intensify awareness programs at the University about the importance of safe use of the Internet and danger resulting from excessive use of it.
