The College of Pharmacy at the University of Karbala organized a course entitled Estimation of raw materials and pharmaceutical preparations using Spectrophotometric technology.

The course in which the assistant lecturer, Majeed Al-Har, lectured, included how to use the ultraviolet (UV) device and how to determine the spectrum using the Lambert-Pert equation, through which the accuracy of the raw pharmaceutical material is determined, which in turn gives us the accuracy of the results that were prepared.

The aim of the course is to train the teaching and technical staff on how to use the Uv-Visible Spectrophotometer to determine the concentrations of pharmaceutical preparations as well as pharmaceutical raw materials.
