More than twenty-eight thousand students are pursuing their postgraduate studies at universities.

Proceeding from their scientific programs and plans, in order to achieve sustainable development goals, and in compliance with the university calendar timings for the academic year 2022/2023, Iraqi universities received twenty-eight thousand and eight hundred students in postgraduate studies, staff and non-employees, within the channels of public admission, private expense, and privileges to begin the first semester, which began on Sunday corresponding to 4/9/2022 and lasts fifteen weeks.

The high study tracks include  higher diploma, master’s and directorate  degrees include two thousand and ninety-eight study programs distributed in medical, engineering, pure sciences, agricultural and veterinary sciences, administrative and economic sciences, and humanities and social sciences. In this regard, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research confirms that the documented indicators of the scientific production of universities and its plan in the field of graduate studies are moving at a positive pace locally and globally and adopts a policy of integration and linking research results, especially applied ones, to what institutions need in terms of treatments, solutions and academic visions responsible for overcoming challenges and serving the community.
