The Minister of  Higher Education discusses with the Lebanese Prime Minister cooperation on the file of Iraqi students, and the Ministerial Committee agrees in Beirut on a protocol to organize the procedures for equivalence of certificates.

The Minister of  Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, made a phone call with the Lebanese Prime Minister, Mr. Najib Mqayati, and they discussed tracks of cooperation and coordination regarding facilitating and organizing the procedures adopted in dealing with the file of Iraqi students studying in the Lebanese Republic.

The two sides affirmed their keenness to consolidate the areas of scientific cooperation and enable Iraqi students to achieve the fundamental academic requirements in accordance with the established legal and academic contexts of official institutions.

In the context of this cooperation, the ministerial committee dispatched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to Beirut held an official meeting with the Prime Minister of the Lebanese government, Mr. Najib Mikati, in the presence of officials of the Lebanese Ministry of Education, and they decided to agree to sign a protocol to organize the certificate equivalency file within a period of time that meets the requirements of auditing and handles it. Lebanese universities complete the equivalency procedures.
