An introductory lecture was given by each of the teachers

And the assistant professor, Dr. Jamal Ali Ashour, and the assistant teacher, Dr. Muqdam Mahdi Muhammad Ali, with the aim of introducing the national standards for the accreditation of pharmacy colleges in Iraq.
Where an introductory overview of the importance of accreditation of scientific institutions and its impact on the national and international levels in the near future was clarified
An explanatory presentation was also presented briefly about the means and methods that must be followed to write the accreditation report and send it to the Iraqi Council for Accreditation of Colleges of Pharmacy.
In addition to defining the terms and steps previously followed by the aforementioned council to pave the way for initiating accreditation requests from the relevant colleges.
One of the most important axes of these lectures is to address the scientific standards that must be met in the college curriculum to obtain accreditation, including:
Availability of goals and mission and definition of them.
Introducing and following the scientific method.
– Follow-up of students (inputs of the educational process) during and after study .
The college’s contribution to community service at multiple levels, including health, industrial and social.
– And other standards that will be clarified in future panel discussions and lectures, aimed at bringing the College of Pharmacy to the required level and ambition.
