Study the effectiveness of the volatile oils of Pimipinlla anisum, Thymus vulgaris and Saliva officinalis an antidote Pediculosis humanus

ABSTRACT

Most of the volatile oils found in medicinal plants have important biological activities like antibacterial, antifungal and antiparasite. The main of this study is to investigate the killing effect of the volatile oils found in Thymus vulgaris, Salvia officinalis and Pimipinilla anisum on the some parasites and insects like Pediiculosis humanus that infect migrants lived in Karbla city. The oils under investigation were used separately and in mixed formula. Preparation of cream containing these three oils was also investigated. Control sample was used to evaluate the results. The results showed a highly positive killing effect of both the oil used separately and in the cream form. Statistical data revealed a significant differences for treated samples of mixed oils and the cream form (100%) at 48 hr, while no significant differences noticed with samples of both Pimipinilla anisum and Thymus vulgaris

 الخلاصة تعد الزيوت الطيارة الموجودة في النباتات الطبية مضادا لمختلف أنواع الأسباب المرضية وكذلك تاثيرها على بعض الطفيليات والحشرات مثل    حشرة القمل Pediculosis humanus التي تصيب الانسان ومن  هذه الزيوت الطيارة زيت الزعتر وزيت الميرمية وزيت اليانسون وهدفت  هذه الدراسة الى قتل وتثبيط القمل نوع pediculosis Humanus  لدى عوائل النازحين الساكنين في مدينة كربلاء حيث شملت  الدراسة تقييم الزيوت الطيارة كعلاج للقضاء على القمل كلا على حده وكذلك مزجت مع بعضها لتقييم تأثيرها مجتمعة وتم ايضا تحضير كريم يحتوي على هذه الزيوت بالمقارنة مع مادة قياسية  ( organ phosphorus) ولثلاث  فترات زمنية 72,48,24 ساعة بعد المعاملة . وأوضحت النتائج الى ان لكل من الزيوت المفردة والممزوجة بالكريم فعالية مضادة لحشرة  القمل        Pediculosis humanus   

وقد اختلفت معنويا عن معاملة السيطرة خلال فترات الدراسة الثلاث , كما أشارت النتائج الى ان اعلى قيمة للتاثير القاتل كانت عند معاملة كريم الزيوت الثلاثة حيث بلغت (100%)  خلال 48 ساعه مقارنة مع معاملة السيطرة ولم يكن هناك اختلاف معنوي للمعاملات بزيت اليانسون وبزيت الزعتر .
